Welcome back to anther wonderful school year. On behalf of myself, and our Lowrey staff, we extend a warm welcome and wish you well on an exciting and productive school year. As always, my door is open to your feedback, and concerns. Working together ensures a successful and amazing school year. Our goal at Lowrey School is to provide you with effective and dependable school to home communication. This monthly newsletter is one of the many ways that we hope to keep our lines of communication open. I want to encourage you to make your voice heard and be the change you want to see by being a part of our PTA. PTA members play a critical role in our building. Your involvement allows you to share your ideas and talents in an effort to enhance the academic scale and emotional development of your children’s success.
- Play a pivotal advice role in your child’s education
- Get first hand news and information about important events
- Your presence alone sends a loud message to your child that schools matter
Parents, please make a strong effort to check your child’s planner daily. Their planner is a great tool for you to see your child’s involvement in school. Their planner should be filled with classroom agendas and homework assignments. Most importantly, in their planners they have a FOCUS and TARDY card that supports our POSITIVE—PBIS plan. Additionally, as the weather gets colder, please ensure that your children are dressed appropriately for the weather. Be sure not to drop your child off too early so that they are not standing outside in the cold. Middle School students do not enter the building until 7:50 A.M. unless they need to be tutored, or eat breakfast.
Respectfully,
Mrs. Rima Younes, Principal
