Students interested in joining the Student Council–let a teacher know. We will be calling them down to the office to pick up some forms. Only 30 will be able to join and the rest will be placed on a waiting list. Here are the following qualifications to partake in student council:
- Attend all scheduled meetings- Usually every other Thursday from 3:10 to 3:40 p.m.
- Notify the alternate if you need to miss a meeting
- Assist as necessary for extra events ( food drives, etc.…)
- Display the Core Values at all times
- Be an EXCELLENT role model for Lowrey Middle School students
- The student must be passing all of her/his classes (recommended GPA of 3.0)
- Receiving frequent detentions, suspensions, behavior issues will lead to a discussion with their teacher of possible replacement
The first meeting for the Student Council will be held on October 31st at 3:10 PM in the little theater.
