Our Eighth grade Honors Assembly will take place on Friday, June 16th at 9 a.m. in the Gymnasium of Lowrey School. Students will receive awards for outstanding achievement. This is a very special time for our eighth graders. We encourage all parents to attend and celebrate the successes of their children. Seating will be available in the bleachers above the gymnasium. Picture taking will be available on the main floor after the assembly is over.
Students are expected to arrive in school at the regular starting time of 7:50 a.m. They should be dressed appropriately for the event: Dress pants and shirts for boys and dresses or pant suits for girls.
Students must adhere to the dress code or they will not be allowed to participate.
Students will be seated in the gymnasium by 8:50 a.m. The ceremony will last for about 90 minutes. At the end, students, parents and teachers may exchange farewells. Again, we want to encourage parents to attend this special day with their children.
This year’s 5th grade Honor’s Assembly will be held on Thursday, June 15th at 8:30 a.m. in the Little Theater. During the assembly, the students will receive their academic achievement awards in all subject areas. Also, the Faculty and Principal’s Award recipients will receive special awards.
We encourage all parents to attend and support their student’s academic achievement.
