Dear Parents of Eighth Grade Students,
This letter is to inform you that the 8th grade Honors Assembly will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lowrey Gymnasium. Students will receive awards and certificates for outstanding achievement during their middle school years. This is a very special event for our 8th graders. All parents are encouraged to attend and celebrate the successes of their children.
Students are expected to arrive at school at 8:00 that morning and will be seated in the gymnasium promptly by 8:50 a.m. They must come to school appropriately dressed for the event: dress pants and shirts for the boys and dresses or pant suits for the girls. Students that are not appropriately dressed will either be sent home to change or they will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Please ensure that your child is not violating our dress code. We have already met and discussed this with students. The following will not be allowed: jeans, t-shirts, shorts, flip-flops, spaghetti straps or strapless tops, open or low back dresses, and dresses and skirts that are excessively short (refer to student code of conduct).
The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes. At the end, students, teachers and parents may exchange farewells. We will also have light refreshments for everyone. Remember, this is a very special day for your children! Please come celebrate with us, and show your children your appreciation of their hard work. We would love to have you here to share this special day and show your support.
Seating for the parents will be available in the bleachers only. PARENTS MUST REMAIN SEATED UNTIL THE END OF THE PROGRAM AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM UNTIL THE CEREMONY ENDS. You will have ample opportunity to take pictures with your children and their teachers at the END OF THE PROGRAM. Thank you for your cooperation!

حضرة أولياء الامور المحترمين،
نود إعلامكم بأن حفل التخرج لطلاب الصف الثامن سوف يصادف يوم الخميس في 16 حزيران (يونيو) عند الساعة التاسعة صباحا في قاعة الرياضة. و سوف يتم تسليم الطلاب جوائز و شهادات تتعلق بإنجازاتهم خلال تواجدهم في مدرسة لوري المتوسطة. إن هذا اليوم عزيز لدى الطلاب و نأمل حضوركم لمشاركتنا الاحتفال بنجاحهم.
نتوقع حضور الطلاب إلى المدرسة عند الساعة 8:00 صباحا ونتوقع جلوس الطلاب في قاعة الرياضة مع حلول الساعة 8:50 دقيقة مرتدين الثياب الملائمة لهذه المناسبة: سروال وقميص للطلاب وفساتين وبدلة بنطال للطالبات. والطلاب والطالبات الذين لا تتوافق ملابسهم مع هذه المواصفات سوف يرسلون الى منازلهم لتغيير ثيابهم حسب قواعد المدرسة. إن الطلاب على علم بقرارات الادارة بهذا الشأن. عليهم الا يرتدوا: الجينز، شورت، سحاسيب، قمصان قصيرة دون اكمام او فساتين دون ظهر او قصيرة جداً.
كما نتوقع دوام الإحتفال لمدة 90 دقيقة و بعدها يُمكن للطلاب و الأهالي و الهيئة التعليمية تبادل التهاني و الوداع. مرة ثانية نتمنى حضوركم و المشاركة في هذا اليوم الخاص في حياة طلابنا و طالباتنا.
بسبب ارتفاع الاصابات بالكورنا، الرجاء ارتداء الكمامات للحفاظ على سلامتكم وسلامة الاخرين، سيكون هذا الحفل مزدحماً بالطلاب والاهل. شكرا لتعاونكم!
إن أماكن جلوس الأهالي متوفرة فقط على المدرجات. وعلى الأهل البقاء في أماكنهم حتى إنتهاء برنامج الإحتفال. و سوف يتمكن الجميع من أخذ الصور التذكارية مع إنتهاء الحفل.
